With a fixed 10x optical plus 2x digital zoom lens and a 2.5-inch LCD screen, the Mavica (pictured right, front and back) records images on 3.5-inch discs. Today these can be viewed on a computer via an external disc drive. A 64mb memory stick is also included for more storage. The battery charger is plugged directly into a socket on the side of the lens. The sensor is only 2.1mp, but that’s enough for small images like those pictured here (below).
